What if I Hadn't?

I've been thinking a lot about a very particular question over the past few weeks. It's a simple question, really: "What if I had never begun exercising?"

The more I think about it, the more and more I'm thanking myself for getting started, and getting into an exercise routine. It's so easy to say "I'll start tomorrow" over and over again, but now that I've begun, I'm so glad I did. Looking back on it all now, if I hadn't gotten going, I'd still be at square one. And now I'm so glad I got moving. I'm already happy to have the little extra strength, and it really doesn't need to take a ton of time out of my day to get my exercise routine in.

It's Worth it in the End.

As January slowly comes to a close, most of us are well into our daily and weekly routines again. We're back at work, and often, back with our old habits. This is exactly why days this week are jokingly referred to as "Ditch Your New Years Resolutions Day." I admit, it's even become more difficult for me to maintain my exercise program now as I get settled back in after the holidays. I've had to keep reminding myself of my goals, and I keep envisioning what the outcome of my exercise program will be.

And it helps immensely.

Every day, I've been able to meet my goals, and I feel great afterwards. My reward is simply not having to go through the guilt of missing a day's workout, and it's worked surprisingly well. Although progress is slow, I'm getting stronger.

Although it might be tempting to give up in these last weeks of January, don't. Results can take time, and it's so, so worth it in the end.

It's Already Getting Easier.

Last week, I had begun an exercise journey - one that I intend to keep to for a long time coming. The UB Toner is a big part of that, and after a week, I'm already starting to feel a little better. I'm doing what I can to use the UB Toner at least three days a week, for a maximum of ten minutes at a time. I'm also working in at least thirty minutes of cardio, and I've begun to cut out some of the unhealthy foods I've gotten used to.

And after only seven days, I can already feel a difference. I feel as though I have more energy, and I'm finding myself in better moods almost every day. It's really amazing how you sometimes don't realize how much better you can feel when you even just begin basic exercises. For now, I can only do about twenty reps of each exercise with the UB Toner, but I expect that to change in the coming weeks.

I can't wait to see more results.

A New Year, A New Start.

First of all, I'd like to wish you a Happy New Year - here's hoping 2016 will exceed all your expectations.

"A new year, a new me" seems so cliche, or at least I always used to think so. Over the past few years, I had always assumed if I were to make any new years resolutions, I'd simply be setting myself up to fail at some point, and I'd be left disappointed.

So I never made any.

That is, until this year. On New Year's Eve last week, I took a moment to look back on 2015 - all the memories, everything I've done and all the great people I met. But I was still somehow disappointed. I had gained weight, and by the end of the year, I was left feeling generally unwell with myself.

That all changes this year, and I'd like to invite you to take this journey with me. Beginning today, I'm making an effort to improve my strength, feel better and look better, and the UB Toner will certainly be a part of that.

Over the next few weeks and months, I will be posting inspiration, stories and quotes, as well as my own progress. Cheers to a great year ahead.

Happy Holidays.

As we're now well into the holiday season, I would like to take the time to wish you a fantastic week, no matter what you may be celebrating. We've had a fantastic year here at UB Toner, and it's all thanks to you.

However, it's still just as important now as it ever will be to maintain that exercise program, and continue to meet your goals. As we're eating our holiday treats and dinners, it's critical to keep pushing through with our fitness routines. Again, ten minutes a day a few days a week is all it takes for strength upkeep with the UB Toner.

From all of us, and from our families to yours, happy holidays, and we hope you have a great week.
